- Having survived and thrived at Amazon, one of the most legendary hypergrowth startups of all time, and founded my own company, TeachStreet (acquired by Amazon in 2012), I bring my hard-earned insights to the table as an advisor and coach.
- My experience is broad-based, as a founder, investor, advisor, and product manager. I humbly believe that I’ve seen it all (or 99% of it).
What is my background?
- Joined Amazon in 1998 as one of its first ten product managers and led product development teams through high-growth success (and some painful failures), including Amazon Marketplace, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon Associates, and more
- Founded venture-backed TeachStreet in 2006 and eventually sold it to Amazon.com in 2012
- Invested in and advise 20+ high-growth tech startups, and mentored 100s of entrepreneurs and high-impact professionals
- Helped build the AWS Startup Business Development organization that serves startups and investors around the world

How will the coaching relationship be structured?
- We will meet for 2 one-hour sessions per month, where I ask you challenging questions specific to your situation/organization (I’m available via chat/phone between meetings)
- Each meeting will generate actionable solutions for 1-2 of your most pressing issues; I am results-oriented and expect my clients to be the same
- I will insist that you be accountable for follow-thru on your commitments
- Most engagements last 3-6 months; we will wrap as soon as you have achieved your goals
